Background:
Mister is a descendant of the wealthy Shabazz family, owners of a mysterious type of gold called Crails, which was discovered in the Gambia and has been hunted for centuries by the western world. Since the tragic passing of his father, Solomon, at the wicked hands of his envious uncle, Idris, Mister has been a wanted by him and by one of England’s largest criminal secret societies known as the Kinglseys, as he is the heir to his family’s entire estate instead of Idris due to Idris’s wicked rebellion from his father’s way. Mister and his mother, Cherry, moved to a private area in the hills of Swing City, courtesy of Swing City’s Mayor Micah who was a good friend of Solomon’s, and helped keep them protected and under the radar. Cherry taught and trained him from deadly martial arts down to the knowledge of his heritage and history, whilst getting private assistance from the mayor for all his needs.
Being passionate about being a detective and protecting people since young, fused with a strong sense of justice, Mister operates as the mayor’s private detective under the alias of Mystery (a name taken as family tradition for all leading Shabazz’s), to protect the people of Swing City. Essentially, protecting others from harm and cruel fates is therapeutic to him as he wished the same could have been done to his slain father.

Having spent a lot of his life rather reclusively and lurking in the shadows of the streets, Mister can easily strike one as an introvert, quite mysterious and borderline creepy to some, however, he is very much opposite to those nearer to him. He is witty, persuasive, can be very cheeky and facetious at times, but is often serious and focused. His confidence gives him a little chip on his shoulder and doesn’t show fear or his vulnerabilities to anyone, except his mother. He isn’t one to let people into his personal life outside of his mother, Mayor Micah, and his few secret helpers, who assist him with research and other useful resources. Outside of his very few friends and mother who know his identity, he keeps all at arm’s length to prevent being exposed. Background:
A British-born young woman of African descent, Saleema’s life took a turn very early when her biological parents dropped her off at an orphanage when she was only a few weeks old. She was then adopted by an upper-middle class British Caucasian family and lived with them in the west-end of London where she befriended her neighbour Mister Shabazz early on. Their friendship was short lived as Shabazz’s family was soon abruptly forced to flee the area for their own safety without a chance to explain or even say goodbye. Despite growing up with a silver spoon and being incredibly intelligent for her age, the odds were still against her as she often faced conflict and prejudice in school from being the only person from her ethnic background, and often had to fight against people ganging up on her. From this, it birthed her strong sense for justice and became a big enough force to be reckoned with to the point where she would stand up for other victims of bullying, earning her respect. Regardless to where she was in life, she never lost compassion for those considered less well-off than her as she never forgot the orphanage where she came from.
Despite the embrace of her adopted family and eventually their community, when she came into adulthood, she began to feel detached from her own culture, and longed to find out more about herself, ethnic origin, native identity, and most importantly her parents. Pursuing policing, she eventually decided to move to Swing City of Founderville, where most of her community of the same background lived, and grew in prominence in the FPD (Founderville Police Department) that gained her the trust and love of Swing City, especially the children whom she adored.

Saleema is very soft spoken and polite which compliments her generous and caring traits. Growing up in east London, as a child, James Larrington is a child on Jamaican descent, and was labelled as the class clown in school, often distracting the class with his many tricks and talents. Having mainly the gift of gab, he has slipped his way into all types of jobs you can think of, but time would take its course, and he eventually he was fired from each and every one of them from being more entertainer than a competent worker. After getting married and having his first child, he soon realised he couldn’t risk having common jobs only to be fired in the end, so he decided to put his talents to use and become an entertainer, as his chaotic life had been entertaining enough at that point anyway. Through this, is where he met his manager, Ladrick, who got him into theatre. James was seen as a natural performer on stage but never quite broke away from the underground scene of entertainment industry, struggling to break out into mainstream beyond Swing City which frustrates him.

Background:
Deuces grew up in a family that were career criminals, that were all eventually rebuked by society for their misdeeds on the street. Consequently, Deuces soon faced poverty, neglect by his parents, rejection from society and was bullied as a child. He’d be attacked on the street by local gangs, and despite calling for help, no one seemed to answer his call because of the family he was from so he was often left to suffer a dreadful fate. Having nobody to care for him, he learned boxing and began body building to defend himself in the mean streets until he became a weapon of himself. He had become so strong at an early age that one day during an altercation with his former bullies, he fought back and in losing his temper, he managed to break one of their bones with his bare hands in self-defence. Even though he acted in self-defence, it caused the community to further turn their back on him and he was consequently sent away to prison. This incident along with his hulking stature earned him the name Deuces Goliath.
Feeling the betrayal of his community only led him further into the arms of crime upon his release. Soon after, as a young man, he was groomed into crime by a purple-suited local kingpin who he admired for all the jewellery and riches he had. Feeling he had no other option out of poverty with the kingpin being the only person to show him love, he joined them and began committing heinous crimes for money. In time, Deuces would be the kingpin’s right hand, but greed and jealously would soon consumed his heart. He became influential enough to manipulate and take control of the entire gang from under his leaders nose, and in a fight for power, Deuces killed his boss and took his place as the kingpin. He soon amassed enough funds to clothe all his men in purple suits and gained a large enough name to be hired for robberies and beatdowns. Deuces never gave his gang a name, but as his group was feared all over the country, everybody referred to them as “The Purplesuits”.
Personality:
Deuces is a menace to the core. Being as physically imposing as he is, he enjoys mocking and belittling people for being smaller than him. He finds opposition entertaining to him and a perfect excuse to fulfil his love for breaking bones with his bare hands. Being incarcerated in the past, Deuces has no fear of suffering at the hands of the law and mocks them for being weaker than him despite their training. He is calculated, well informed, and isn’t easily outsmarted. Other than money, Deuces feeds off power and gets it mostly out of peoples fear for him which he preys on in order to overpower them. He shows very little emotion other than rage and joy over wickedness and is merciless to anyone who stands in his way. His anger however is unparalleled and more viscous than any other. Putting up a resistance with him only causes his rage to grow more beastly by the second. The only thing Deuces respects and would submit to is money and those with it until he is in the position to overthrow them.

Background:
Queen Lunda is made of a peculiar type of gold called Crails, that were discovered in a gold pit in the Gambia centuries ago by a goldminer called Mister Shabazz (the first). The crails had the unique ability to glow brighter the closer they came to human contact. Mister would gain ownership of this gold, making the Shabazz family rich, and used some of his riches to help the poor. However, as generations went by, they soon began making enemies from underground criminal entities who sought to kill them and take their riches by force, so the Shabazz family would have to go into hiding for their own safety. Many people who loved the Shabazz family for all their help, aided them in protecting their identities from the world, and the Shabazz family would reward them by offering them pieces of gold in return. The Shabazz family would later becoming corrupted with greed and a lust for power as generations went down, and some used it rule and oppress less fortunate people in the society. Members of the family would even fight and kill each other over their own riches, putting a dooming energy around the Crails themselves as it was deemed to be costing people their lives.
Eventually, the final few surviving members of the Shabazz family would try to change their ways in handling their wealth before they lost it to the wicked powers of the world, but it wouldn’t stop all of them. As of recent, the ancient Queen Lunda was gifted to the Mayor of Swing City, anonymously for aiding descendant Detective Shabazz in concealing his identity from society as he was marked for death for the inheritance of the crails. Lunda would eventually be stolen, purposely prompting the Shabazz family to emerge from the shadows to retrieve it back so they could be killed and overthrow the Shabazz riches. As more crimes and tragedies have arisen from the events of Lunda’s theft, this causes Detective Shabazz to tactfully embark on a deadly mission to retrieve Lunda, uncover the veil on the dark secret societies who have tried to take ownership of his families wealth as well as tyrannically oppressing society with their ruthless killings of the less fortunate in Swing City.
